This is the central place of communication for the Premier Twirlers. We draw twirlers from Frederick and Washington counties of Maryland, West Virginia, Southern Pennsylvania. The Premier Twirlers are individual athletes primarily focused on baton twirling, coached by Tenaya Ramey.
The individuals primarily compete in the National Baton Twirling Association (NBTA) and Twirling Unlimited (TU) organizations. They compete year round, traveling to competitions in the Mid-Atlantic region and are all currently from the state of Maryland or West Virginia.
Members compete in Modeling, Interview, Basic Strut, Pairs Basic, Super X Strut, Solo, 2-baton, 3-baton, Show Twirl, Duet/Pairs, Flag Baton and Guard (Flag/Rifle/Sabre). Many members have State and Regional titles and have placed top ten at Nationals. A few are also National title holders. NBTA Nationals are held at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana and TU Internationals are held at the Canton Civic Center in Ohio each July.
The Premier Twirlers also offer competition teams in dance twirl, twirl team, poms, and guard (flag/rifle).
